Download the BeTheme

With your purchase of this theme, the first step is to download the package from ThemeForest. After clicking the Download button, you will be introduced to four options:

• All files & documentation - This will download a large ZIP package containing BeTheme, BeTheme child, documentation of the theme and plugins, a sample PSD file. It will also include the Revolution Slider plugin founder demo sliders - those are not our sliders, for the pre-built website sliders, you will get a link there.

• Installable WordPress files only  - This is a ready-to-install zip file with BeTheme. It does not require to be unzipped like the package above.

• License certificate & purchase code (PDF) - This is the purchase code (license key) that is used to register the theme in the BeTheme dashboard.

Installation Process

The installation process can be executed in two ways i.e., WordPress theme manager and FTP upload. In WordPress theme manager you have to choose the zipped file called betheme.zip and press install now. WordPress will do the rest for you. In FTP, unzip the betheme.zip package and upload the theme folder into your themes folder. After doing that, you will also have to go to Appearance Themes and then activate the theme.

Always try to use the updated version. To install the theme, download the recent version of Betheme from the ThemeForest downloads page.

Child Theme

Don't lose your transformations. Using a child theme in WordPress is a great idea when you want to improve the theme files quickly. It secures that your modifications will not get overwritten upon updating the parent theme.

The child theme files are positioned in all files and documentation packages with the parent theme. It is very much easy. Just install the child theme like you would a parent theme and initiate it.

Using a child theme usually means that you like to rectify the core theme files. Any error in the code may make the page unusable. Please be cautious when enacting such actions because the support policy does not cover such changes and it will not be able to help you.

Theme updates

You must revise the theme to the current version as soon as a new update appears. It will save you from plugin incompatibility, exposures, and bugs. Counting on your existing theme version there are two ways of updating the theme such as

1. For users that have Betheme version 20.0 or higher
2. For users that have Betheme version 17.8.8 or lower.

Theme registration

The theme needs the user to register the product with the license key. Each installation of the theme has to have a different license key. You cannot use one key for numerous domains.  Know that this key is only for BeTheme registration. It cannot be used for draped plugins; they do not require registration at all.

The registration of the theme enables you to introduce pre-built websites, sliders and install/update bundled plugins.

To register, please use the Envato purchase key connected to each purchase. It is very easy to register. You just set the key into the "insert the purchase code here" field and click the Register button.

Theme migration

If your website is ready and you wish to move it to its objective server, remember first to undermine all plugins and deregister the theme from your BeTheme tab. It is suggested to use the Duplicator plugin to move your project. It will copy the whole website with the database. It is also a great way of storing an edition of your site if anything awful would occur to it in the end.

When the transfer of your website has been completed, please allow your plugins and register the theme again.

Installation

Pre-built websites are very easy to install. You can discover them in: wp admin> Betheme>pre-built websites

There you will find a whole list of our 600+ pre-built websites. Scroll through them, select a category up top or search the term you are curious about using the search box. When you assume which pre-built website you wish to use, click on it to go through the installation procedure.

Required Plugins

When you select your pre-built website and click on it, you will be introduced with a popup. The first step is to install the needed plugins. You mustn't miss this step and make clear that those plugins are installed and effective.

For example, If you do not install Revolution Slider while the pre-built website requires it, the slider will not be received. Another example is the WooCommerce products, they will not import if there is no plugin installed.

Database Reset

This step is discretionary. If you have a clean installation of WordPress, then you can ignore it. Anybody who installed a pre-built website before and prefers to select another one should reset the database and remove the already existing content and options.

This is a built-in process, not a plugin.

Selected Data Import

Do you just need the slider?

This is a very good option for users who prefer to import the pre-built website partly or just like the demo slider design and want to use it with another pre-built website. You will also be able to import the theme selections or just the subject.
